Examples

The following items highlight a variety of work we can produce, depending on the client's specification |
Trees

When we show trees on our topographical surveys they show individual canopy and trunk positions. Trunk girths are measured on site and
represented appropriately on the CAD drawing. The canopy geometry is drawn using multiple point observations around the spread.
Of course, if the above is not necessary trees can be indicatively shown by symbol or grouped together depending on the nature of the project brief.

Street scene elevations

The image below shows an example of a street scene required for planning reasons for a proposed redevelopment. The scene was required to show basic outline with roof heights and window positions for rights of light and impact assessment.
The information was created using reflectorless survey equipment which required only a direct line of sight from accessible areas to the property therefore negating the need to arrange access into private properties.

Road markings

An ever increasing requirement for planners, engineers and designers, road markings can be added to the topographical survey using remote observations from the safety of the surrounding footpaths. This allows the recording of accurate markings and levels within busy highways without traffic management.
The example to the right shows give way junction marking, turn arrows, crossings and parking restrictions. |

Measured building

Below are images of an example floor plan and elevation. Surveys are carried out using laser measurements to record precise geometry and embellished using CAD. The floor plan below was used to calculate working floor space for rental value. The elevation identified building deformation due to settlement in the area. All features were recorded individually to show regional variations.
